Surgeries using minimally invasive techniques offer earlier release from the hospital, less pain, blood loss and scaring allowing patients to return to their regular routine with less down time.
Robotic surgery is an advanced minimally invasive techinque that employs state-of-the-art robotic technology and magnified 3D vision. The robotic microinstruments translate the precise movements of the surgeons hands while the high-definition scaled 3D imaging allows for optium viewing and manipulation of sensitive issues. EVMS Health Services Gynecologists, Head and Neck Cancer Surgeons and Reproductive Infertility Specialists utilize robotic technology as treatment procedures for select surgical treatments.
