Welcome to the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine. Our fertility treatment team is committed to providing you with superior patient care in a compassionate, caring environment. We know all too well the stress and frustration that you have experienced in your quest to have a family, and we will strive to make your experience with us a success.

At the Jones Institute, you will receive a treatment plan that is specialized for you, based on your individualized needs. Our approach to patient care will insure that you have access to all of the Jones Institute's considerable expert resources and maximize your chances of conceiving. We foster a friendly environment to assist you with a highly specialized team including fertility physicians, nurses, and laboratory personnel who are committed to this task.

Since the Jones Institute's inception in 1978, we have continuously sought innovative ways to treat patients experiencing infertility. Our new state-of-the-art in-vitro fertilization ( IVF ) center provides infertile couples with the most advanced treatment techniques in a private, comfortable setting. Our IVF center is the most experienced center in Hampton Roads, staffed with our interdisciplinary practice and including a Class C operating room and IVF laboratories.

We offer comprehensive treatment techniques in all areas of Assisted Reproduction Technologies, including IVF, ICSI, oocyte donation, embryo cryopreservation, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, endoscopic - corrective reproductive surgery ( with the incorporation of robotic surgery ), sperm donation, and other promising technologies in fertility preservation for cancer survivors.

Sometimes patients delay infertility treatment because of concerns over cost, lack of insurance coverage, or feeling that assisted reproductive technologies ( ART ) may not be effective. The cost is less, and often the success rate is greater, when a physician is consulted early in the treatment process. We offer two RiskShare financial programs to qualified patients designed to help manage the cost of IVF treatment.

Call our office and speak with a member of our knowledgeable staff. We look forward to helping you fulfill your dreams.

Sincerely,

Sergio Oehninger, MD, PhD
